How to identify it
Small oval leaves with a highly contrasting white, pink, or red vein network, rather than scattered spots; low creeping growth habit distinguishes it from the more upright Polka Dot Plant
Wilts extremely dramatically when the substrate gets too dry, but rapid recovery after watering strongly supports temporary dehydration rather than a deeper problem. Persistent wilting despite wet substrate should raise concern for root problems instead.
